Fishing effort and observed captures of Salvin's albatross by month, 2002–03 to 2020–21

Salvin's albatross (Thalassarche salvini) breeds in New Zealand, with the main population being on the Bounty Islands. Salvin's albatross are observed caught in trawl and longline fisheries.

Between 2002–03 and 2020–21, there was no observed fishing in mackerel purse seine fisheries in the East Coast North Island area.
